Vic: Police arrest two men after party stabbings
MELBOURNE, Aug 18 AAP - Two young men have been arrested following the stabbing of
two partygoers in a house in Melbourne's south-east.
The men, aged 18 and 20 years, were taken into custody from a house in Berwick this
morning, police said.
Just after midnight (AEST) last night, four men were stopped from entering a party
at Clyde North, and a fight ensued where two other men, aged 20 and 21, one a resident
of the house, were stabbed.
A spokesman for The Alfred Hospital said this morning that one of the injured men is
in a critical but stable condition while the other man is stable.
