NSW: Orphaned teenager believes killers targeted parents

Orphaned teenager BRENDA LIN believes those responsible for the murder of her family
were targeting her parents .. but she's no idea why.

The Cheltenham Girls High student was on an excursion to New Caledonia when her parents
MIN and YUN LI .. two brothers and an aunt .. were bludgeoned to death in their beds.

Police are yet to make an arrest or reveal a motive for the murders last month in Epping
.. where her family ran a nearby newsagent.

In an interview on tonight's 60 Minutes program on the Nine network .. 15 year-old
BRENDA .. says she doesn't have any clues about the motive for the killings.

BRENDA says she's got no idea because her parents were always really nice to all the
customers and they never received threatening phone calls.

She also says in spite of the horrific killings .. she's not frightened for her safety.
