Qld: Hanson may have a discrimination case against Cue: Booth =2

Cue managing director Rod Levis later said his staff were never instructed to discriminate
against Ms Hanson.

"There is no way we were asking staff not to serve her," he said, repeating the company's
claim that the article was meant to be humorous.

Mr Levis questioned how it could be discriminatory to select who represented a particular
product or company.

"We select people to represent the company for a reason - surely it doesn't discriminate
to say this one's the right representative and this one's not," he said.

Cue staff will this afternoon participate in a telephone hookup as company executives
continue to deal with the fallout from their staff newsletter.

"We're trying now to just make certain that there's no more fires burning and our staff
are feeling confident," Mr Levis said.

Lawyers for Cue are also writing to various media outlets to complain about the coverage
of the Hanson article in their newsletter.
